WisdomCybernetics has a strict, zero-tolerance anti-spam policy. Sending unsolicited bulk email (UBE) — commonly known as “spam” — from a WisdomCybernetics-hosted account, or in connection with any service provided by WisdomCybernetics, is a material violation of our Terms of Service and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
1. What we mean by “spam”
Spam, for purposes of this policy, includes any of the following:
- Unsolicited bulk email, whether commercial or otherwise.
- Unsolicited commercial email (UCE) sent to recipients who have not affirmatively opted in.
- Email sent to addresses harvested from websites, news groups, or other sources without the owner’s consent.
- Mailing-list email where the operator cannot prove valid double opt-in for every recipient.
- Email containing forged headers, misleading subject lines, or fraudulent return addresses.
- Email sent through open relays, open proxies, or any third-party server without the owner’s permission.
2. Customer obligations
- You must obtain documented, affirmative opt-in consent from every recipient before sending bulk or commercial email.
- You must keep records of consent and produce them to WisdomCybernetics on request within 72 hours.
- Every email you send must include a working unsubscribe mechanism and a valid postal address as required by the CAN-SPAM Act and other applicable laws.
- You must comply with all applicable laws and the rules of any third-party network whose services you use to send mail.
3. Third-party complaints
WisdomCybernetics investigates every complaint received from internet users, anti-abuse organisations, and partner networks. We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or restrict any account that we reasonably believe is the source of spam or other abuse, in order to protect the integrity of our network and the reputation of our other customers.
4. Reporting abuse
If you believe a customer of WisdomCybernetics is sending spam, please report it to abuse@wisdomci.com. Include full message headers, the body of the message, and any other relevant evidence so our team can investigate.
5. Consequences
Violations of this Anti-Spam Policy may result in any combination of the following:
- Immediate suspension or termination of your service without refund.
- Forfeiture of any prepaid fees and charges for clean-up time at our then-current rates.
- Liability for reasonable damages caused to WisdomCybernetics or any third party as a result of the violation.
- Referral to relevant law-enforcement authorities, where appropriate.
